Description | As of December 12, 2023, the project has been awarded, however, a timeline for construction has not been confirmed. This project consists of providing the labor, materials, and equipment for Site development of the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands' Pu'unani Homestead Subdivision. The project consists of grading and constructing drainage improvements, on and off-site water and sewer lines, roadway, electrical, telecommunication and landscape development for 161 residential lots. Contractor shall be required to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment to complete the project. A performance bond and payment bond equal to one hundred percent of the Total Base Offer Amount for each will be required if the Total Base Offer Amount exceeds fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) To be eligible to submit a bid, the Bidder and/or his subcontractors shall possess all required valid State of Hawaii licenses and specialty licenses needed to perform the work for this project. A surety bid bond will be required for this Invitation for Bids (IFB) This project is subject to Section 103D, Hawaii Revised Statutes ("HRS"), and to the payment of not less than the prevailing salaries and wages promulgated by the State of Hawaii, Department of Labor and Industrial Relations. It is the responsibility of Interested Bidders to check electronically for any addenda issued by DHHL up to the due date for bids. Attendance of the pre-bid conference and/or site visit is not a condition for submitting a bid, but strongly recommended. Persons needing special accommodations due to a disability may submit such requests to Robert Ing, Land Agent, Land Development Division, via email to Robert.m.ing@hawaii.gov. A written Notice of intention to bid is required and shall be received by the DHHL, Land Development Division, at 91-5420 Kapolei Parkway, Kapolei, Hawaii 96707, no later than 2:00 pm. H.S.T. on November 15 ,2022 . Submittal' of a Notice of intention to bid via facsimile at (808) 620-9299, or e-mail to Robert.m.ing@hawaii.gov is acceptable. A properly executed and notarized Standard qualification Questionnaire for Offerors,, SPO Form-21 ("Questionnaire") is required and shall be submitted to the DHHL Land Development Division, at 91-5420 Kapolei Parkway, Kapolei, Hawaii 96707 no later than 4:30pm, H.S.T, November 15 , 2022 . Completed Questionnaires must be submitted as an original hard copy with wet signatures. Questionnaires that are submitted via facsimile or E-mail will not be accepted. DHHL reserves the right to amend the IFB by written addenda, reject any and all bids, or waive any defects in said bids where DHHL deems it is in the best interest of the State Questions about this project shall be posted electronically by 2:00 pm, H.S.T, November 16 .2022 .
