Deice Apron Expansion

The proposed Deice Apron Expansion project will increase the existing centralized commercial deice apron by 15400 SY of PCCP pavement and increase the number of deice positions from two positions to three positions. The deice apron expansion will entail a reorientation of the aircraft on the deice apron and provide greater separation from the new terminal Concourse A thus bringing about one additional Gate position (A3B) and a potential overnight aircraft stand near Gate A1. The project will also include a 3200 square yard expansion of the adjacent General Aviation asphalt apron including the mill and overlay of 3055 square yards of adjacent asphalt to grade the expanded apron. Also included is a 725 square yard section of Taxiway D that needs to be widened and include a fillet section. Est. Value: $ 5,000,000.00.
