Construction Testing Services Buildings for Our Future Three Schools Project

Portland Public Schools is building additions and renovations to the existing K 5 Longfellow Elementary School, the existing Pre-K 5 Reiche Elementary School, and the existing Pre-K 5 Presumpscot Elementary School. The elementary schools including renovations will be approximately 30,000 square feet for Longfellow, 92,000 square feet for Reiche, and 42,000 square feet for Presumpscot. Construction will include site work, interior and exterior demolition, earthwork, site utilities and site improvements, paving, landscaping, and seven phases of interior renovations for Longfellow, seven phases of construction for Reiche, and two phases of construction for Presumpscot. The projects are scheduled to begin in June 2021 and reach the final substantial completion in September of 2023. All three buildings will include the placement of three modular classroom buildings on site and the subgrade and concrete will need to be tested for these modular building.
