Reforestation Watering 2022

Provide follow-up watering treatments (maintenance) to trees and shrubs that were installed in fall 2021 at Old School, Lakewood (2 areas), and Singing Hills Forest Preserves. The scope of work for this project shall include all labor and equipment to complete watering treatments of trees and shrubs at Old School, Lakewood, and Singing Hills Forest Preserves. Depending on rainfall during the 2022 growing season, reforestation sites (Work Sites) may require watering as many as six times. The specific timing of watering shall be determined by Owner Project Manager based on soil conditions at the site. Old School: 111 trees (1.0”-dbh) and 396 trees/shrubs (5-gallon) were planted in several areas totaling approximately 30 acres. Lakewood Center: 117 trees (1.0”-dbh) and 598 trees/shrubs (5-gallon) were planted in several areas totaling approximately 43 acres. Lakewood East: 84 trees (1.0”-dbh) and 457 trees/shrubs (5-gallon) were planted in several areas totaling approximately 43 acres. Singing Hills: 33 trees (1.0”-dbh) and 296 trees/shrubs (5-gallon) were planted in several areas totaling approximately 25 acres.
