Tree Removal 2020 - Tom and Valley Road

The Tree Removal Process will include: 1. Taking down Thirteen (13) trees on Tom Road and Thirty-one (31) trees on Valley Road as part of a road reconstruction project. The trees are located along the edges of the road and the majority of them lean heavily over the road or are dead. The trees have been flagged with orange ribbon by the Highway Manager. 2. Trees will be taken down using a bucket truck or crane. 3. All brush less than 6” diameter will be chipped. (Chips may be dumped at the Highway Department.) 4. All logs will be left on site for town to dispose of. 5. Stumps will be cut flat and low. 6. Work areas will be left clean. 7. Pruning of all major limbs to adequate height and eliminate large looming dead limbs over the road.
