Description | Borough of Woodbine, in Cape May County and the State of New Jersey, seeks to engage, for a limited term, a Small Cities Project Engineer for the purpose of the preparation of plans, specifi-cations and bid documents, construction oversight, preparation of a Certification of Project Completion, and any other related tasks deemed appropriate by the Borough, pursuant to the Borough's recent award from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs' Small Cities Program for Water System & Roadway Improvement on portions of Clay Street and Madison Avenue including replacement of the aging water system and reconstruction of roadway pavement. The contract will be awarded through the provisions of NJSA 40A:11-4.1 et seq. and NJSA 19:44A-20.4 et seq. Minority- and women-owned businesses are encouraged to submit proposals. Financial assistance for this activity is made possible by a grant from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, Division of Community Resources, New Jersey Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, Philip D. Murphy, Governor of the State of New Jersey, and Sheila Y. Oliver, Lt. Governor of the State of New Jersey and Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. Funding for the State's CDBG Program was provided by a grant from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, State Community Development Block Grant Program. Minority- and women-owned businesses are encouraged to submit proposals. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. |
