| Description | STIP ID WDO-478 SR 166/Port Orchard - Rebuild Signals Several existing signal systems are outdated and require frequent and extensive maintenance. By replacing these obsolete signal systems using current technology and standards, the risk of failure and the high cost of maintenance will be reduced. As of December 29, 2022, this project is in Final Planning status. Preliminary engineering has begun and environmental design is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2021. The contract advertisement is expected in first quarter of 2023 and construction is anticipated to be operationally complete in the second quarter of 2023.
