The project is expected to be awarded on Mid January.** LOCATION: Upland Road over East Aspetuck River PROPOSED WORK: Bridge Replacement ( Replacement of Bridge No. 05115 Upland Road over East Aspetuck River) Work shall include, but not necessarily be limited to: o Conduct pre- and post-construction condition surveys. o Laying out, furnishing, installing, protecting, maintaining, monitoring, and preparing reportsfor all monitoring instrumentation: Crack Monitors, Deformation Monitoring Point, and Vibration Monitors. o Replacement of failed, damaged or stolen instrumentation. o Notifying the Engineer and taking immediate remedial action to prevent the Limiting Values from being reached. Meeting with the Engineer to review current field conditions to determine further steps to be taken, before exceeding the Limiting Values. o Making adjustments to the demolition, pile installation, and vibratory compaction means and methods in order not to exceed the Limiting Values. o Removal of all monitoring instruments, Crack Monitors, Deformation Monitoring Points, and Vibration Monitors as specified herein, or as directed by the Engineer at the completion of construction activities.
