Elgin O'Hare Western Access (I-490) Roadway And Bridge Construction Franklin Avenue To Illinois Route 19 (Irving Park Road)

The scope of the work shall consist of partial demolition of existing Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) Bridge abutments (including pile extraction) and existing Taft Avenue abutments, Bridge Number (BN) 1663 (I-490 Northbound) and BN 1662 (I-490 Southbound) construction, retaining wall construction, grading and stockpile construction, enclosed drainage system construction, installation of fire suppression system, permanent underpass and railroad security lighting, erosion and sediment control measures, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) infrastructure, maintenance of traffic, and other miscellaneous work. As of March 22, 2022 this project is Bidding. Architect information has not been disclosed. Information regarding subcontractor bidding opportunities have not been disclosed.
