Description | The Project consists of the following approximate quantities: Mobilization and Safety Requirements 1 LS Clearing and Grubbing (Striping of 4" +/- Vegetative Material and Removal of Asphalt Base 1 LS Unclassified Excavation (PM) 360 CY Granular Material for Apron (Crushed Limestone) (PM) (30% Shrinkage Allowed) 330 Tons Reinforced Concrete (8" Thick) 1,111 SY Erosion Control 1 LS Temporary Silt Fence 295 LF ADDITIVE ALTERNATE: Unclassified Excavation (PM) (Allowance) 741 CY Select Borrow Material (PM) (50% Shrinkage Allowed) (Allowance) 1,111 CY The following Federal Provisions are referenced and will be incorporated within the contract. Buy American Preference - 49 USC 50101 Foreign Trade Restriction - 49 CFR Part 30 Davis Bacon - 29 CFR Part 5 Affirmative Action Government - Wide Debarment & Suspension - 2 CFR Part 180 Government - Wide Requirements for Drug-Free Workplace Bidders must qualify under Mississippi Law and have a Certificate of Responsibility. Bids will be accepted only under the name of the Bidder to whom contract documents have been issued by Plan House Printing, on behalf of the Engineer, and whose name appears on the official list of Planholders maintained by Plan House Printing. Bids must be submitted on the standard form of bid proposal, and the successful bidder will be required to execute the standard form of Contract Agreement, together with a 100% Performance Bond and Payment Bond, within ten (10) days after formal award of the contract. Bids may be held by the County for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the bid and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. The Monroe County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all information in the best interest of the Owner. |
