| Description | A. The project consists of the Montgomery Hall South Wing Roofing on the main campus of the Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida. It is the intent of these contract documents that the Work result in a complete and durable reroofing of selected damaged roof areas of this building. The Work includes but is not limited to: 1. Removing the existing roof system and installing a standing seam metal panel roofing system. 2. Removing the existing lay-in gutter membrane system and installing a fully adhered PVC hybrid roofing system over the gutter wood decking. 3. Pathing and repairing the existing granulated cap sheet roofing membrane system and installing a new fully adhered PVC cap sheet membrane and flashing recovery system. 4. Reroofing also includes but is not limited to installing new roof drains, enlarging, and installing new through-wall overflow scuppers, and metal counterflashings. 5. The clean, prime and paint of all metal rooftop access ladder and leg supports as specified. |
