Roadside Vegetation Management Project

The work generally consists the mowing of two (2) state roads in Lake Wylie. Cutting vegetation, treating the sidewalk, and curb and gutter joints for growth, and removing debris from the sidewalk and adjacent areas. The designated work zone will be from the back of curb, the sidewalk and the five (5) foot adjacent area within the SCDOT right-of-way. Mechanically cut and remove all excessive (3” high or more) vegetation in the work area, with special emphasis on the actual sidewalk walking surface. The goal is to increase safety and comfort of the targeted pedestrians and cyclists. The project total estimated length of roadway is 25,853 linear feet, (4.9 miles).
