Description | The improvements consist of furnishing all labor and materials to repair or replace damaged Rightof-Way Fence as required for all State maintained roads in the Canal and North Districts including I-95, I-295, I-495, RT 1, US301, and related ramps. Follow other incidental construction in accordance with the location, notes and details shown on the plans, and as directed by the Engineer. All work on this contract must be complete within 730 Calendar Days. Extensions of contract time due to weather are specified in the Standard Specifications Section 108.7F, weather days. It is estimated a Notice to Proceed is issued such that work starts on or about December 19, 2022. LOCATION: New Castle County PRE-BID MEETING: No Questions regarding this project are to be e-mailed to the above address no less than six business days prior to the bid opening date in order to receive a posted response. Please include the Contract number in the subject line. Questions and responses are posted at Electronically. The date of the final posted Questions and Answers document must be entered on the submitted Certification Form. Each proposal must be accompanied by a deposit of either surety bond or security for a sum equal to at least 10% of the amount bid. DelDOT to include a performance-based rating system for contractors. The Performance Rating for each Contractor shall be used as a prequalification to bid at the time of bid. Refer to 'General Notices' for details. DEDOT - Open-end, Right of Way Fence Replacement, North and Canal, FY22-FY23 This purpose of this contract is to repair or replace damaged Right-of-Way Fence as required for all State maintained roads in the Canal and North Districts (depicted in the below maps), including I-95, I295, I-495, RT 1, US 301, and related ramps. The work shall include, but not be limited to, Maintenance of Traffic, removal of damaged fence and components, and repair/replacement of damaged fence and components, as required or directed by the Engineer on individual work orders. The specific work sites are not listed herein, but will be assigned as available by the District Maintenance office. |
