VNM-399 Services for HOV Bus Lane Operation at The Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority ("MTA") and Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority (TBTA), acting by and through the MTA Construction and Development Company ("MTA C&D"), will be issuing an Invitation for Bid ("IFB") seeking entities to provide personnel, equipment, and material to operate and maintain a Barrier Transfer Machine (BTM) and associated moveable barrier. The intent of this project is to operate the BTM Monday through Friday to set up and maintain the AM HOV lane along the VNB Upper Level eastbound and the PM HOV along the VNB Upper Level westbound. Respondents with current contracts to perform work on MTA projects must be in good standing and satisfactorily progressing the Work on such contracts to be deemed qualified to participate in the solicitation for the Contract Funding: 100% MTA Goals:15% MBE; 15% WBE; 6% SDVOB Est $ Range: $10M - $50M Contract Term: 36 Months *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
