Description

The work covered consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, tools, materials, travel, lifts, licenses and permits required to modernize outdated communication lines and the communication infrastructure of the Greenlief Training Site in Hastings, NE. Portions of this infrastructure were originally constructed in the 1990's and are in need of comprehensive system reconfiguration and replacement to enhance connectivity and functionality of service. Project includes installation of fiber optic and copper communications lines, Pull Boxes throughout cantonment and the subsequent communication connections to approximately 15 existing buildings in the cantonment area of the training site. A new continuous fiber optic loop around the Cantonment Area will replace the existing "daisy-chain" infrastructure and provide redundancy of service. All removed cabling becomes the property of the contractor.
