Closed Landfill Maintenance Services

To maintain the Old Brent Road Landfill site. The waste disposal areas consist of approximately 36 acres. There are two sediment ponds that occupy approximately 2.5 acres. Each Sediment Pond has an outlet structure. The majority of the waste disposal and sediment pond areas can be mowed with a tractor and bush hog, however, there are berms and ditches on the Phase 1 side that will require hand cutting of woody vegetation and the same is true for the outlet structures of the sediment ponds. There is a total of 50 Environmental Monitoring Locations around the perimeter: methane, groundwater, and surface water monitoring locations. They are primarily located in wooded areas, but most are accessible by UTV. Each maintenance event needs to include a visit to each location and assuring that paths have not grown up. Leaves and debris needs to be raked from the monitoring well pads, as needed.
