Description

The Bidder shall furnish all labor, insurance, equipment, materials and power for the complete performance of this project as follows: E. State Boulevard from Road to Georgetown N. Boulevard with concrete pavement rehabilitation and micro-milling of the road surface. The project will also include repairs of damaged curb sections and upgrading of ADA ramps at public intersections. Following the completion of the rehabilitation of existing infrastructure, the project will include restoration of all disturbed areas with new topsoil and grass all in accordance with the Bidding Documents and Drawing No. ST 0063C as prepared by DLZ Indiana for the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana No bid will be accepted from, or con-tract awarded to any person, firm, or corporation that is in arrears to the City, upon any debt or contract, or, who has failed to execute, in whole or in part in a satisfactory manner, any contract with the City; or, who is a defaulter as to surety or otherwise, upon any obligation to tne City. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for receipt of bids for at least ninety (90) days to allow review of bids before announcing award of contract. The successful bidder may be required to furnish a satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in the amount no less than one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids for failure to comply with applicable laws and/or with the Instructions to Bidders. The Board also reserves the right to waive any defect in any bid. EBE GOALS - The City's goal for qualified Emerging Business Enterprise (E.B.E), as subcontractors on this project is ten percent (10%) of the contract amount Bid Opening date is being moved to Thursday, July 7, 2022, at 2:00 pm. Contractors shall submit all questions concerning this project by Thursday, June 30th , 2022, by noon. REQUIRED SUBSTANTIAL & FINAL COMPLETION DATE: shall be moved to 09/01/2023 & 10/01/2023 to allow for completion of the project. The engineers estimate for this project is $5,854,558.50
