Description | DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL OF THE BUILDING AND STRUCTURE LOCATED AT 36 PULASKI STREET, BINGHAMTON, NY 13905, TAX MAP #143.51-1-22 It is the contractor's responsibility to meet the minimum guidelines of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (O.S.H.A.), in particular Part 1926, the Safety and Health Regulations for Construction. The Town of Dickinson has the authority to issue a Stop Work Order if the applicable O.S.H.A. regulations are violated. The Stop Work Order will remain in effect until such violations of the O.S.H.A regulations have been rectified. Contractors must comply with all relevant NYS and Federal Laws, Rules and Regulations. This is a prevailing wage job. It is the contractor's responsibility to pay employees the greater of the NYS Wage Rates or the Federal Davis-Bacon Wage Determination and to comply with prevailing wage rate requirements. The sealed bid shall be inclusive of all costs, including but not limited to state asbestos permit costs, tipping fees, and landfill costs. All bids shall be made strictly in accordance with (1) the Instructions to Bidders, (2) the Bid Form, (3) the Non-Collusive Bidding Certificate, (4) the Organization and Experience Certification, (5) the Iranian Energy Sector Divestment Certification, (6) the Contract for Demolition, including all documents contained or referenced therein (the "Bid Documents"). The bidder agrees that this bid shall be good and may not be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Town reserves the right to award the bid as determined in the best interests of the Town. The Town will award the bid within forty-five (45) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. |
