| Description | Parks anticipates this to be an asphalt pump track of approximately 7000 sf with an optional bike playground or skills loop. Completion of a city wide trail planning effort that identified potential locations for single track, bike parks, bike skills development features, and other bike-optimized amenities. This planning project identifies Aldo Leopold Park as a high priority site due to several factors including connectivity to Madison’s paved bike path system, proximity to schools, and desire of the neighborhood for bike amenities. A pump track was selected for this park because of its ability to serve a variety of riding abilities, the long standing desire for a pump track. |
