Description

Cornell University is seeking proposals from consultants to provide design services for the Demolition of Building 4914 on the Geneva Campus of Cornell University. The project involves the demolition of Building 4914, the Geneva Utility Storage Barn Facility on the Geneva Campus of Cornell University. Demolition design will consist of: Demolition and/or salvage of the structure and removal from campus Securing and making safe the utilities Asbestos abatement as required Landscaping once complete The services indicated below shall include, but not be limited to: Demolition and/or salvage of the building and its contents Securing and making safe the utilities Asbestos survey and abatement plan Removal of materials Landscaping of area once complete Pursuant to New York State Executive Law Article 15-A, Cornell University is committed to promoting opportunities for maximum feasible participation of certified MWBE firms and the employment of minority group members and women in the performance of Cornell contracts. Consultants are required to ensure that good faith efforts are made to include meaningful participation.
