| Description | The exterior repairs and painting of the Hannaway Blacksmith Shop at 667 Great Road, Lincoln, RI. 1. Hand dig around entire building to reveal a minimum of 4” of foundation and grade away from building. 2. Remove and replace damaged barn boards and batten strips from bottom two to four feet (2 to 4’) of building and replace with rough sawn barn board with staggered joints, as directed by the Town. Cleat behind joints. 3. Fill smaller holes in exterior walls with wood filler. 4. Scrape, prime, and apply one coat of paint to entire structure. Paint to be Sherwin Williams or equal. Color to be determined by Town. 5. Re-glaze and paint windows (2 coats). 6. Replace 6x6 sill as needed with pressure treated 6x6 sill rated for ground buriel. |
