Description

The Town of Plainfield is soliciting bids from vendors to compliment the Town of Plainfields snow removal fleet. This will be a total season price. This will be small areas such as parking lots. The Town will provide sand and salt to the successful candidate. Qualified candidates must be insured and attain all proper equipment. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids that are not in the best interest of the Town of Plainfield. The Town of Plainfield is an equal opportunity employer. Certificate of Insurance showing coverage shall be filed with the Finance Director on behalf of the Town by the successful bidder. Bidders should familiarize themselves to these locations. Plowing at: Plainfield Town Hall 8 Community Avenue; Police Department 210 Norwich Road; Recreation Department 482 Norwich Road; Parking lot located Railroad Avenue adjacent to railroad track; Atwood Fire Station, Wauregan, CT; Central Village Fire Station Central Village, CT; Moosup Fire Station, Moosup, CT; Plainfield Fire Station, Plainfield, CT; Walking track at 8 Community Avenue; and Walking Track at Moosup Little League. Bidders need to disclose their equipment that will be used to complete this task. The First Selectman reserves the right to cancel the bidding process prior to the established opening date and time, if such action is deemed to be in its best interest to do so. Moreover, the First Selectman reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part of any or all bids, if it is in its best interest to do so. The bidder agrees to all the terms and conditions of this invitation to bid. The successful bidder will submit a contract that does not supersede or change the terms of this invitation to bid.
