Description The objective of this contract is to complete a technical upgrade of the PBR control rooms, redesigning the system architecture to provide the required capabilities while making efficient use of the available space used for equipment, furniture, and equipment racks and to maximize the amount of available floor space for operators, technicians and other control room occupants, ensuring that the unified capabilities of all the mission partners are met. The transition from the existing architecture to newly a developed control room design must be achieved seamlessly within the timeframe established in coordination with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) as well as OSD PA, DOD News, and other stakeholders. Due to access constraints and the requirement for limited downtime, this will require a phased implementation process in which the new control rooms are designed, engineered, and tested off-site and then brought into the Pentagon to be installed and put into operation in their final location.
