FY 2021 CDBG Sanitary Sewer Improvements

This projet shall include replacement and/or rehabilitation of approximately 1,080 L.F. of existing gravity sewer mains. Rehabilitation methods to be utilized include pipe bursting, open-cut replacement in-place and manhole rehabilitation. This project shall also include the replacement of four (4) shear gate and gate operators at the Town of Cadwell's Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP). Time allotted for completion of work is _90_consecutive calendar days. All Work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications. The Work will be awarded in one (1) Contract. Section 3 Covered Contract: This project is covered under the requirements of the Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968. This contract opportunity is a Section 3 Covered Contract. Section 3 Business Concerns are encouraged to apply. If a bidder wishes to claim Section 3 preference, properly signed Section 3 documents MUST be submitted with the bid. All Bidders must comply with 41 CFR 60-4, in regard to affirmative action, to ensure equal opportunity to females and minorities and will apply the timetables and goals set forth in 41 CFR 60-4, as applicable to the area of the project. Bidders must also comply with OCGA-13-10-91 and utilize the federal work authorization program commonly known at E-Verify.
