Description

Construction of a 135 acre-foot detention basin and 375-foot long emergency spillway northeast of the intersection of Heyer Street and Whipple Avenue and an outfall system along Heyer Street from the detention basin to Whipple Avenue and along Whipple Avenue from Heyer Street to the Muddy River. The outfall system consists of 1.1-miles of reinforced concrete pipe, 0.75-miles of reinforced box culvert storm drain, and associated manholes, drop inlets, and lateral storm drains. The project also includes paving and striping along Whipple Avenue and Lyman Street within the project limits.
