Description The Collier County Housing Authority wishes to engage the services of a qualified CONTRACTOR to provide construction services for the repair and replacement of roofing at miscellaneous locations at Farm Worker's Village, 1800 Farm Worker Way, lmmokalee, Florida. The specific units for repair and replacement will be identified as part of the detailed project description contained in the project manual. The scope of work involves a total of 10 buildings. The work is primarily shingle repair and replacement. There is limited soffit and fascia repair included as part of the base scope of the project. The extent of the replacement and repairs will be specified on a building by building basis. The replacement work will be a complete tear off and re-roof. The scope will include re- nailing of all plywood, installation of a new drip edge, installation of new underlayment, installation of a new ridge cap including cutting of the ridge opening where required, installation of new vent flashings, flashing of all existing kitchen, bathroom, or other roof hoods, goose necks or other roof penetrations, and installation of new shingles. The roof shingle installation shall be as specified and detailed in the project manual.
