Description | Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 30% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Contract term: 30 days after completion of project County(ies): Ontario Location: Martz IRA, 5700 Martz Rd, Farmington, NY 14425 Question Deadline 09/29/2022 Summary of work- Completely install generator and transfer switch for residence SCOPE: DG014 263-FLA-2550 DESCRIPTION: Generator and Transfer Switch Installation at Residence. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural / engineered drawings. Work is to be completed within 60 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of Generator Installation, before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Furnish materials and labor to Completely Install the Generator and Transfer Switch System as Per this scope. 2. Remove existing generator and install new 38 KW in it place 3. Remove existing x fer switch and install new 400Amp rated x fer switch in its place 4. Verify there are enough existing control wires , if not pull in proper control cables 5. Upon completed installation, vendor must complete "Installation/Pre-Startup Check Sheet" and submit to Emergency Power Systems (EPS). A technician will be assigned to the job to review the work and start-up of generator for warranty purposes. 6. Vendor must also contact Middleton Engineering for review of services performed. 7. All work will be inspected by: Middle Department Inspection Agency, and coordinated by FLDDSO Maintenance Point of Contact listed above. Please notify contact when inspection can be completed. Inspection documents must be submitted to the DDSO contact listed above before payment will be processed. 8. No splicing of service conductors is allowed in the system. Lug to lug connections are strictly enforced. 9. Panels must be re-wired as sub-panels for isolating neutrals. 10. All work to be done per New York State, Federal Regulations, and 2014 NEC code. 11. Test and tune equipment for optimal performance. Submit startup documentation for warranty verification. 12. Generator and Transfer switch to be picked up by vendor @ Newark Transportation Building, Newark, NY. 13. No payment will be processed until all necessary documentation and inspections are satisfactorily on file. 14. Work to be completed and invoiced within 60 days of receipt of P.O |
