Description

Q & A deadline: Oct 05, 2022 5:00:00 PM EDT Bid Comments: The CITY is soliciting proposals from registered PROFESSIONAL CONSULTANTS to provide usual and customary Planning and Engineering Services for transportation planning, engineering, environmental assessment, and grant writing on an "as needed basis", all in accordance with the provisions of the CONSULTANT'S Competitive Negotiations Act (CCNA) (FS 287.055) . One or more firms may be chosen to enter into agreements with the City of Sarasota. The continuing consulting services for planning and engineering projects are related to Public Works Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) projects that have been or will be submitted for Federal Infrastructure Bill grant funds and any other grants available. These services shall include, but are not limited to, grant development and support, safety studies, public involvement, project development, environmental review, visioning and concept development, and design. As such, the CITY requires high level technical planning and engineering support services in order to achieve the above tasks for project readiness of CIP projects that have been identified for potential grant submissions.
