| Description | Roadside collection and disposal of residential municipal solid waste: the roadside collection and marketing of recyclables; and the annual on-site collection and disposal of bulky and universal waste. Proposals shall be for a 36-month term that will commence on July 1, 2020. It is the intent of these Contract Documents to require the complete and satisfactory curbside collection of Durham’s municipal solid waste and recyclable materials from residences and several public buildings. The Town reserves the right to award the contract deemed to be in the best interests of the town. Prospective contracts shall provide a proposal for a 3-year contract for the following work: 1. Curbside municipal solid waste collection once weekly. 2. Curbside recycling collection once weekly. 3. Once a year collection of bulky wastes and white goods. 4. Once a year collection of universal wastes. |
