Description | Project has been cancelled As of October 5, 2022, information regarding the award and award date has not been disclosed. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: From qualified individuals/firms for CN220465JJB: Melvin Morgan Constitutional Complex 2nd and 4th Floor Renovation - Design Then and there to be publicly opened and read aloud for the purpose of selecting a vendor to furnish; all necessary labor, services, materials, equipment, tools, consumables, transportation, skills and incidentals required for Lee County, Florida, in conformance with proposal documents, which include technical specifications and/or a scope of work. In March 2021, Lee County contracted to have a Master Plan completed for the Constitutional Offices in the Melvin Morgan Constitutional Complex (MMCC). This work was completed, and Lee County moved forward with design of the customer lobby on the 4th floor (Property Appraiser) and relocating the call center (Tax Collector) from the second floor to the third floor. These minor parts of the overall master plan are being completed now as the program required this work to be completed prior to implementing he overall master plan was paramount. The enclosed master plan incorporates the programmatic planning for the remaining space on the 4th floor which will utilized by the Property Appraiser (approximately 21,000 sf) and space on the second floor (approximately 5500 sf) which will be utilized by the Tax Collector. A pre-proposal conference and site visit has not been scheduled for this solicitation.
