| Description | Contractor to remove and dispose of existing fence, gates, and ball backstop from intramural field. Contractor to provide 8’-0” high chain link fence replacing the existing chain link fence. Fence shall be finished Black with a vinyl coating. Fence fabric shall have at maximum 2” mesh and be at least 6 gauge or heavier. Posts shall be 4” O.D. on corners and 2 7/8” O.D. in fence line. Posts are to be spaced no more than 8’ apart. Gates to match fence and should have 4” O.D. posts on both sides. Top and middle rails shall be a minimum of 1 5/8” O.D.. Bottom of fence shall be secured with tensioned 6-gauge cable. Gate posts shall be braced using either railing or tensioned cable. Posts shall have at minimum a 36” deep footer. Concrete for footer shall be a minimum of 3000 PSI. Hardware to allow for the locking of the gates shall be provided and installed by contractor. All measurements shall be field verified. |
