Description

Lead Water Service Line Replacement for residential homes in Rockford, Illinois. This work will consist of approximately 576 replacements through either open-cut trenching operations or directional boring of the water service line. Existing lines are to be abandoned in place upon successful connection of newly installed pipe. Proposed construction improvements include: replacement of existing lead water service lines on both the public and private side of the right-of-way. Public replacements will run from the water main to the right-of-way and private replacements will run from the right-of-way line to the meter connection point.
