Hutchinson Road Tree Removal Project

Remove stand of Eucalyptus trees on Hutchinson Road starting at Hessel Road and ending at address 5150 Hutchinson Road. Trees must be removed by February 11, 2022 due to nesting bird season. Once trees are removed all stumps will be ground per the requirements below. Contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary traffic control, note Hutchinson Road has no possible detour and cannot be closed for the duration of work – short closures for safety reasons may be possible. Remove all Eucalyptus trees adjacent to the roadway. A Eucalyptus tree at either end of the stand is marked with an orange dot at the base. All wood, brush, and chips from this project shall be removed. The stumps shall be cut within 8-inches of soil grade and ground 2-feet below existing soil grade. All debris from the Eucalyptus trees on the ground prior to work 1/2-inch diameter and larger shall be removed. The stumps shall be cut within 8 inches of soil grade and ground 2-feet below existing soil grade. All stump grinding material shall be left in the hole/depression and the excess creating a mound shall be spread over the surrounding soil. Spread ground material from the stump grinding operation shall not exceed a depth of 6-inches.
