The Junction Butte Pump Improvement Design-Build Contract consists of improvements to the Colorado River channel and bank area in order to improve pump performance at BLM Colorado’s Junction Butte Watchable Wildlife Area (see the following vicinity map). This project primarily consists of the following features as well as others listed in the following specifications, guides, and attached drawings: 1. Survey verification of existing survey and or supplemental survey as necessary 2. Elevation design and construction verification 3. In-channel river excavation 4. In-channel river-bank extension 5. Bank and rip-rap toe protection 6. In-channel rock vane construction 7. Channel cross-vane structure 8. Dewatering and personnel safety plan for construction 9. Line existing ditch at south bank. 10. Construction site disturbed area seeding 11. Revegetate disturbed banks with on-site willows (at the option of the Government) 12. Pump inlet area sediment removal
