Description

This project consists of interior and exterior renovations. The exterior portion includes the removal and replacement of portions of sidewalks, as indicated in the drawings, and the front entry ramp including the railings. A new rear entry ramp in the rear of the building down to the sally port area as well. The sally port parking lot will require removal and replacement of the pavement. The work on the exterior is being updated to provide the proper running and cross slopes of the paved areas per ADA standards and will require accurate concrete pours. The interior work consists of replacing multiple door closers that have failed and need to be replaced to allow the required push \ pull force to open. There are several bathrooms where the existing casework will be modified and adjusted per ADA standards. The courtrooms will be modified to lower the areas around the judge’s bench to eliminate the step, the gallery area will have several benches modified to accommodate wheelchair space. One new lift will be provided adjacent to the secure entry of a courtroom and electrical service provided for future lifts at all courtrooms.
