Insulation System Installment

The Facilities Department requires installation of Foam Polyurethane (SPF) Insulation System for the Camp Bathroom. This project will be categorized as a Construction Project. The contractor will provide all labor, material and equipment necessary to remove and dispose of (in accordance with all federal, state and local regulations) the existing 6” fiberglass batting insulation and install a closed cell (SPF) spray polyurethane foam insulation system on approximately 3,250 square feet of ceiling of the existing galvalum type metal roof camp structure. The SPF (spray polyurethane foam) insulation system shall meet or exceed local, state and federal insulation code requirements to include a spray thermal barrier providing the required 15 minute thermal barrier for fire protection. Contractor will be responsible for determining the need for a primer application to existing metal roof/ceiling for proper adhesion. Contractor will also be responsible for providing all lift and or scaffolding systems to demo old insulation system and install spray foam insulation system on ceilings ranging from a height of 14’ to 17’ high.
