Description

Bids must be made on standard proposal forms as provided in the specifications. All bids shall be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing on the outside thereof the name and address of the Bidder and the contract said bid pertains to, addressed and delivered to the Paterson Public Schools, Department of Purchasing, 90 Delaware, 4th floor, Paterson, New Jersey 07503. A copy of the Bidder's Business Registration Certificate issued by the NJ Department of Treasury may be provided with the bid proposal at the time of bid opening. If awarded, vendors shall submit a BRC prior to the time of contract award or authorization . This requirement is mandatory and failure tocomply will disqualify the bid proposal. -Bidders shall comply with the required completion and submittal of a Non- Collusion Affidavit. -Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 - One of the following documents will be accepted: Letter of Federal Approval, Certificate of Employee Information Report or complete AA302/AA201 form. -As evidence of good faith, a BID BOND shall accompany each bid/proposal or CERTIFIED CHECK made payable to PATERSON PUBLIC SCHOOLS in the amount of 10% of total bid amount, not to exceed $20,000.00 dollars. - Each Bidder shall provide certification indicating he/she owns, leases, or controls all the necessary equipment required by the specifications to perform the contract. -Bidders shall submit with their bid: name, address, and telephone number of three (3) references -The Bidder is advised of the responsibility to file an annual disclosure statement on political contributions with the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.27 (P.L. 2005, c271, s.3) The District reserves the right to reject all bids, to waive minor informalities or non-material exceptions of any bid or bids and to make such awards to the lowest responsible Bidder in accordance with Public School Contracts Law. PROPOSAL OPENING Given the ongoing emergency declarations related to COVID-19 and to ensure social distancing, the District is eliminating the group gatherings for bid openings. Instead, the bid opening will be streamed live using zoom.
