Description

**As of August 17, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. Award is anticipated the end of the month or the beginning of next month to Raymand..** Contract 1 - New Water Mains on Robert & Lois St & Lead Service Line Replacements, Contract 2 -Water Main Replacements, Contract 3 - New Gas Generator, Contract 4 - Filter Media Replacement, and Contract 5 - Well Pump Replacements. Contract 1 - New Water Mains on Robert & Lois St & Lead Service Line Replacements includes replacement of approx. 1450 feet of watermain on Robert and Lois Street including associated HMA replacement, sidewalk removal and replacement, lawn restoration with other appurtenances. Also included is the replacement of approx. 45 lead service lines on Roberts & Lois Street and throughout the City via open cut and directional drilling. Sidewalk removal and replacement, and lawn restoration with other appurtenances will be needed for lead service line replacement scope. Contract 2 -Water Main Replacements includes providing and installing water meters in the quantity and sizes specified while coordinating all work with the City and City Customers. Contract 3 - New Gas Generator includes providing and installing a new gas generator and transfer switch on a new concrete pad. Also included is new electrical, gas, and utility service work and contractor work with other appurtenances. Contract 4 - Filter Media Replacement includes providing and installing approx. 78 cubic feet of new filter media at each of the 3 existing vessels to remove arsenic and iron. Existing media to be removed, tested and disposed of appropriately. Testing of the new media for acceptance prior to recommissioning into service is required. Contract 5 - Well Pump Replacements includes removing existing well pumps and providing and installing 3 new well pumps matching existing pump performance. Also included is pipe rework to accommodate new pumps and other appurtenances. WAGES: This project is subject to prevailing wages. Bids will be accepted only from Plan Holders of Record.
