Description | **As of June 15, 2023 project was awarded to JG Leone Enterprises, awarded amount is $7,586,944.95.** For Noonday Creek Trail Extension No submitted bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time or receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. A 5% bid bond (or certified check in lieu of bond) is required. The work to be done consists of the furnishing of all materials, labor, and equipment for the complete construction of the Noonday Creek Trail Extension from SR 92 to Noonday Creek Park, hereinafter referred to as the "PROJECT", including, but not limited to, erosion control, maintenance of traffic, paving, grading, excavation, subgrade preparation, drainage construction, wall construction, concrete surface course, sidewalks, signs, pavement marking, and grassing at locations indicated in the plan set. The contract timeframe is 545 calendar days. Payment will be made to the Contractor each calendar month based on the estimated work completed and in place as described by the standard specifications. Final payment of amounts withheld or deposited in escrow will not be made until the City of Woodstock, Georgia has certified that the work has been satisfactorily completed and accepted. This project is also being advertised on the Georgia Procurement Registry (GPR). Please note Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications, Latest Edition, GDOT Supplemental Specifications Book, Current Edition, and applicable Supplemental Specifications and Special Provisions apply to this project. Deadline for questions will be Monday, April 3, 2023, at 5:00 pm. Responses to questions will be provided by Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 5:00 pm The City of Woodstock, Georgia reserves the right to reject any one or all bids and to waive formalities. All bidders shall be prequalified with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) prior to submission of the bid. Subcontractors shall be prequalified or registered with GDOT. A Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal of 14% has been established for this project. Bidders shall comply with 49 C.F.R. Part 26 in their efforts to attain this goal. Bidders shall be required to document sufficient DBE participation to meet this goal, or alternatively document good faith efforts to do so. Davis-Bacon wage rates for Cherokee County, GA will also apply. DBE firms must be certified with the Georgia Department of Transportation's Equal Employment Opportunity (EE0) office. The City of Woodstock in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and 78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d42 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, part 21, Nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, national origin, disability, or age in consideration for an award. A required performance bond is to be 100% of the contract amount and a required payment bond is to be 110% of the contract amount. * Surety companies executing Bonds must appear on the Treasury Department's most current list (Circular 570 as amended) and be authorized to transact business in the state where the project is located. |
