Description

The work under this Contract generally consists of installing approximately 960 ft. of new 8 PVC water main to replace the existing 4 water main between Railroad Ave. and West Street within the Town of Laurel. The existing water main is to be abandoned in place with portions of the main to be removed as necessary to facilitate the connection of the new water main. Included within this work are new water services, valves, hydrants, bituminous milling and paving, etc. All work shall be in conformance with this Project Manual as well as with the Town of Laurel s Standard Specifications and Details for Public Works Construction. Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and Women Business Enterprises (WBE) are encouraged to respond.
