Description | This Work consists of the construction of all components of Donation Pump Station Rehabilitation, including demolition of existing pump station components and pipelines, construction of new pump station components and modification of existing components, conduit and equipment for electrical services, sanitary sewer force mains and gravity pipes, vaults, manholes, restoration, erosion control, dewatering, traffic control, and other work, all in accordance with the Plans and Contract Documents. Demolition of existing pump station mechanical and structural components including portions of the concrete caisson structure, steel stair and catwalk structures, pumps, valves, base elbows, discharge piping, and building wall cutout. 2. Demolition of existing concrete masonry unit electrical and controls building. 3. Demolition and abandonment of the existing 8-inch diameterforce main from the pump station to the discharge manhole. 4. Demolition of existing influent gravity sewer piping. 5. Modification of existing concrete caisson structure to convert wetwell/drywell to a combined wetwell. 6. Construction of a new concrete masonry unit electrical/controls building. 7. Construction of new Donation Pump Station components, including new valve vault, RPBA and yard hydrant, piping, valving, site work, and all other work necessary for a complete and operable pump station. 8. Construction of a new 16-inch diameter high-density polyethylene (HDPE) force main. 9. Slip-lining of the existing 10-inch diameter ductile iron force main with a new 8- inch HDPE force main. 10. Construction of new 18- and 24-inch diameter influent gravity sewer including manholes and connection to the existing Donation Pump Station concrete caisson structure. 11. Installation, operation and maintenance of a functioning dewatering system. 12. Abandonment of existing station utilities including water and electrical service. 13. Demolition of existing storm sewer piping and structures and construction of new 18-inch diameter storm sewer and catch basins. |
