Description

The Hugh L. Carey Battery Park City Authority ("BPCA") is seeking proposals The Battery Park City Authority ("BPCA") is seeking proposals for requests proposals from commercial carting companies to provide pick up and disposal services for its non-putrescible waste. Created in 1968, BPCA is a New York State public benefit corporation responsible for financing, developing, constructing, maintaining, and operating Battery Park City as a richly diversified mixed use community providing residential and commercial space, with related amenities such as parks, plazas, recreational areas, and a waterfront esplanade. The non-putrescible waste generated by BPCA for which pick up and disposal is sought herein generally falls into 3 categories of waste: 1) Construction and Demolition debris and other non-putrescible materials including but not limited to sand, road salt, wood stumps, masonry debris. 2) Hazardous materials including but not limited to motor oil, paint, vehicle fuels and fluids, tires. 3) E-Waste including but not limited to light bulbs, computer equipment, batteries.
