Description

The work shall consist of installation of all necessary infrastructure for the Lexington Village Residential Subdivision including, but not limited to,earthwork, roads, curbs, sidewalks, detention pond, storm sewers, sanitary sewers, and water mains. The bidder shall also be responsible for coordinating installation of gas, electric, and telecommunication utilities. The Proposal must be made on the forms provided in the Bid Packets. Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check, drawn on an acceptable bank, or an acceptable bidder's bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, payable to the City of Logansport, Indiana. The Bidder (proposer) must supply all information required by the bid proposal form and must contribute at least 15% of the contract price in work, materials, services, or any combination thereof. Work hours will be as provided in the technical specifications. Partial payment will be made monthly based on an approved payment requisition. The Contractor and all subcontractors will be required to comply with required Federal and State labor regulations including Equal Employment Opportunity, EVerify, Non-segregated Facilities, and Affirmative Action requirements. The Contractor and all subcontractors must also submit written documentation verifying that they are eligible and registered to work on federally funded projects in the System for Award Management or will be able to obtain such registration prior to the bid award. The Bidder's attention is also called to the "Minority/Women Business Enterprise Participation" goals contained in the Instructions to Bidders. The Indiana Economic Development Corporation has adopted the following State goals for participation of minority and women owned businesses for contracts: Construction Related Contracts -7% MBE and 5% WBE Professional Services Contracts -8% MBE and 11% WBE Goods and Services Contracts -8% MBE and 13% WBE The City of Logansport, Indiana, reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or parts thereof and to waive all responsibility for irregularities in bids. Bids may be held by the City of Logansport, Indiana, for a period of not to exceed 60 days from the date of opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and the investigation of the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. It is anticipated, however, that the contract will be awarded on or before December 2nd, 2022. Interested bidders must request the bidding documents directly from Crossroad Engineers to ensure they are added to the official planholders list.
