Description This project will complete upgrades to the steam and condensate piping in the North Campus walkable steam tunnel, trench and mechanical rooms of DH Hill Library. The scope includes asbestos abatement; removal of steam pipe and condensate pipe, the Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) station, and existing pipe hangers; excavation over the trench located south of the Atrium; installation of new 150 psi steam and condensate pipe, structural supports, and taps on the tunnel piping; installation of insulation around the new 150 psi steam pipe; installation of new PRV stations in the mechanical rooms.
