Fiber Optic Communication Network Service and Maintenance

The City of Mobile is requesting bids to establish pricing for work to be performed requiremeign Aerial Cabing, Fiber Optic Work, and/or Underground Boring. This work will be part of the installation and maintenance of the City's fiber optic communications network and miscellaneous projects throughout the City. The City will award to the 3 lowest bidders of each line item (or item type). The City will use primarily the low bidder. However, if the vendor cannot meet our immediate need, we will go to the next lowest bidder. If that vendor cannot meet our need, we will go t the 3rd lowest bidder. Also note that the east of working with the awarded vendor may be a factor in awarding certain jobs. The skill level and equipment required to perform certain jobs may be a factor at times in the award of certain jobs.
