| Description | The project outlined in this RFP includes the design, engineering and construction of a rooftop solar photovoltaic system, complete with monitoring and display of production data. Preliminary feasibility study was done, that estimated the project size to be 97.2 kW. The overall installation will include two separate systems installed on top of the canopies in the main section of the parking lot. However, the ultimate systems can change. DCFM seeks to install solar parking canopies in the parking lot of the Taylorsville State Office Building (TSOB) located at 4315 South 2700 West, Taylorsville, UT 84129. The canopies and solar photovoltaic systems will be installed either on the West side, or North side parking lot. Possible locations will be reviewed at the mandatory pre-bid meeting and the exact location and orientation will be part of each team’s design proposal. |
