Mountain Loop Trail

Construct the Mountain Loop bike/pedestrian trail from the south end of the Chemistry Building to the intersection at Pitkin. The base bid rehabilitation work is comprised of the construction of the 12-foot-wide bikeway and 8-foot-wide pedestrian path between the Chemistry Building and Visual Arts Complex. Other surface improvements include construction of two parking lots, 4-foot-wide concrete pan, and concrete paving in the plaza area. Surface removals and grading will be necessary in order to complete the concrete work. Additionally, three inlets will be removed and replaced, including pipe installation. Construction of two trash enclosures on site, inclusive of a concrete pad with a thickened edge, vinyl fencing, and steel gates will be constructed as well. The Work also includes all pavement markings, striping, landscaping, irrigation, and erosion control.
