Bridge Abutment Steel

Contractor shall provide Steel Sheet Pile, C-Channel, Flat Plate with no fabrication required (ASTM A328) steel. Per VDOT Road and Bridge specifications 2020 section 228. 1. Items requested are steel sheet pile. Contractor shall provide 28 pairs of PZC 18 for a total of 56 sheets 30 foot length each (all sheet piling shall come paired together with holes in each end). 2. 100 Linear ft. of PZTee Connectors for sheet pile. Contractor shall provide 5 PZTee connectors 20 ft. long that total 100 linear feet. All items shall be Hot Dipped Galvanized per VDOT Road and Bridge specifications 2020 section 233. 3. 100 Linear ft. of Cobra Connectors for sheet pile. Contractor shall provide 5 Cobra Connectors 20 ft. long that total 100 linear feet. All items shall be Hot Dipped Galvanized per VDOT Road and Bridge specifications 2020 section 233. 4. 16 Channels 20 ft. long C-15 x 50 Steel Channel. All items shall be Hot Dipped Galvanized per VDOT Road and Bridge specifications 2020 section 233. 5. 1 piece at 60 Linear ft. or 3 pieces at 20 Linear ft. - 1ft 7-1/2 inches wide x 3/4in. thick Flat Plate Grade 50 steel Contractor shall provide 60 linear ft. All items shall be Hot Dipped Galvanized per VDOT Road and Bridge specifications 2020 section 233. 6. 1 piece at 50 Linear ft. or 2 pieces at 25 Linear ft. each - 17in. wide x 1in. thick x 50 ft. long Grade 50 Flat Plate. All items shall be Hot Dipped Galvanized per VDOT Road and Bridge specifications 2020 section 233. 7. 120 linear ft. Contractor shall provide 6 bar stock 20 ft. long each that is 2in wide x 1/2in thick x 120 linear ft. total of Grade 50 Flat Bar stock. All items shall be Hot Dipped Galvanized per VDOT Road and Bridge specifications 2020 section 233.
