Master Planning and Development Advisory Services - Heritage Park

provide Master Planning and Development Advisory Services for the redevelopment of Heritage Park. The scope of services is expected to include, but is not limited to: 1. Consult on all aspects of the redevelopment of Heritage Park. Offer guidance, suggestions, and ideas based on the design principles and goals established by the RHA Board of Commissioners. Discuss ideas with the Executive Director and Board of Commissioners as requested. 2. Review the site plans drafted by the architect and offer suggestions for improvements based on experience. Discuss suggestions with the Executive Director and Board of Commissioners. Oversee any changes to the site plans to ensure all changes are made accurately and within expectations. 3. Assist RHA with the identification of cost, design, and other efficiencies at every stage of the project. 4. Suggest funding strategies/sources that can be used for the redevelopment. Assist in the funding applications and documents as requested. 5. Assist with the selection of the Co-Developer and other professional services as directed. 6. Review proposed development budgets. Discuss concerns with the Executive Director. 7. Facilitate community engagement. Identify stakeholders and community partners that need to be involved in the planning and development process of the redevelopment of Heritage Park. Plan, coordinate and execute a community engagement process and plan that seeks to be inclusive and equitable for residents, businesses, institutions, and other stakeholders. Consult, interact, and encourage participation with the residents and surrounding community in order to shape the vision of Heritage Park. 8. Direct the communication with the City of Raleigh, as well as any other stakeholders, on matters related to the redevelopment. As instructed, meet with, negotiate, and interact on RHA’s behalf with various professionals before, during, and after the redevelopment to assist RHA as directed with various aspects of the project. 9. Perform and administer any and all other reasonable services as requested to be performed by RHA related to the redevelopment of Heritage Park.
