Selective Demolition, Concrete, Shotcrete, Reinforcing SCOPE OF WORK Bid Package #10 SCVMC Old Main Hospital Building Demolition and Rebuild Phase 1, 2, 3 (partial), 4 (partial), 5, Utilities, Sitework SUMMARY OF THE WORK This Bid Package covers all work shown in the Bid Documents, with the exception of the following: . Soft demolition within the footprint of the Old Main Building structure (East & West) as shown in Phase 3 of the contract documents . Hazardous material abatement within the footprint of the Old Main Building Structure (East & West) as shown in Phase 3 of the contract documents . Structural Demolition of the Old Main Hospital Building (East & West) including all seven floors and the basement as shown in Phase 3 and Phase 4 of the contract documents . Infill of the Old Main (East) basement footprint to rough grade as shown in Phase 5 of the contract documents . Construction of the new 4-story (+ basement & roof) Hospital building at the (West) side as shown in Phase 4 of the contract documents The following are the Sub-Packages to Bid Package #10. At the time of submitting a bid, the subcontractor shall possess a valid license issued by the California Contractors State License Board. In addition, the bidder shall be registered with the DIR as a public works contractor. PREVAILING WAGE Subcontractor and its agents, employees, and tiered subcontractors shall comply with provisions of the California Labor Code, including those relating to payment of prevailing rates of wages. Subcontractor and its tiered subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations and qualified to perform public work pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5. Stronghold will not accept any bid without proof of current registration to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5.
